Evan Trewby was the 6th child of a family of nine, is an Old Boy of Palmerston North Boy's High, where he excelled in sport, and no doubt studies, as he went on to become a surveyer, and worked in that field in Hawke's Bay. He went missing in Crete, but no trace of what happened to him was ever found. Some of his family went over to try and find out some information, but to no avail.
